Fabio Fasanari, a young artist who uses his education in engineering to project themes of selfconfidence and beauty onto city walls. After exploring his passion for drawing during his
university years, Fabio decided to make the leap and pursue art full-time. His choice of media is street mural, because “it can impact everyone, not just the people who already know art will see it.”
His first and most popular mural is “La Tua Rosa”, located in Viterbo. Full of wise beauty, this piece represents confidence and motivation, its inscription reads: “may the fear of rejection and criticism never stop your desire to succeed”. Some other works around Viterbo include “Speranza” on Via Zazzera, which is a symbol of hope beyond barriers, and “Dua col Turbante”, a modern twist on “Girl with a Pearl Earring”. The most stunning aspect of his work, in my opinion, is how he can capture lighting and shadows perfectly. Contrasting colors and life-like emotion make his murals stand out to all who pass by.
Fabio adores his city, and he holds the belief that many do: the Tuscia area has so much
potential and is often sadly overlooked. He boasts of the rich history of its San Pellegrino
medieval quarter, of the thermal baths, and many other attributes that should make this area famous. He hopes that through the success of his art, which he plans to concentrate in Viterbo, the city will also receive praise and attention from visitors. Fabio is a naturally gifted and dedicated artist whose dream for the future is to make his city like his generation, creative and open-minded.
Although Fabio likes to keep his future plans to himself, he hints to me of another mural in the works this summer. We are all looking forward to Fabio’s expression and talent.
