LIFE/ Mychelle Vincent: my eye on italian people

roma centurioni

As part of the USAC (University Study Abroad Consortium) Viterbo program, we had a field trip to Roma. For most of us this was our first time in the Eternal City. What we discovered there was a mix of the old world and the new. Look left and you see an ancient, historical landmark. Look right and see groups of tourists taking “selfies” with selfie sticks and countless souvenir stands selling merchandise.

While in Roma we visited St. Peter’s Basilica, the [under-construction] Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and the Colosseum. It is an experience I will never forget, and I am looking forward to my next visit to this timeless city.
